Wisconsin Uniters
Our Uniters were photographed in Kenosha, WI on July 27, 2024 by John Noltner of the A Peace of My Mind project. Check out the gallery of photos below, along with our Uniters’ responses to the question "What do you hope to achieve by working across differences to prevent targeted violence?"
Targeted Violence Prevention Projects
In each county, Uniters work with a community organization to implement a project that supports the partner's efforts and addresses potential risk factors for targeted violence. Projects might focus on issues such as trauma healing and mental health support, racial divisions and/or tensions, immigrant/ non-immigrant tensions or services, economic and housing issues, and political divisions and/or tensions.
A $10K budget will support each project.
This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, opportunity number DHS-23-TTP-132-00-01.
