A non-partisan community action program (July 2024-February 2025) that brings Adams and Franklin County residents together across political, racial, religious, age, and other differences to reduce the risks of election-related violence.

Uniting to Prevent Political Violence in South-Central Pennsylvania (UPPV) is a non-partisan community action program that brings Adams and Franklin County residents together to develop and implement initiatives to prevent political violence in their communities.

Program Goals

  1. Build on relationships developed during Uniting to Prevent Targeted Violence in South-Central Pennsylvania and forge new relationships among a diverse group of community members and stakeholders.

  2. Strengthen community cohesion and resilience in Adams and Franklin Counties.

  3. Design and implement initiatives to reduce risks of political violence during the 2024 election season.
