Uniting for Community Safety in Arizona: '24 Elections
A non-partisan community action program (September - December 2024) that brought Arizonans together across differences to strengthen communities through the 2024 election period.

Program Overview
Uniting for Community Safety: '24 Elections brought together Arizonans across generational, geographic, political, racial, and other differences to enhance collaboration skills, build relationships, and strengthen communities in Maricopa and Yavapai counties, thereby enhancing community safety during the '24 election season.

Projects with
Community Partners
Arizona Uniters in Maricopa and Yavapai counties implemented projects in collaboration with community partners to improve community safety.

In Maricopa County, our Uniters teamed up with The Center for Excellence in Inclusive Democracy at Maricopa Community College to facilitate pre- and post-election conversations on community safety. The team held three community events around the election.

In Yavapai County, our Uniters teamed up with The Launch Pad to support its teens in leading Better Together community conversations. The team contributed to two Better Together community events with The Launch Pad.

Uniters earned $500 for their participation in the program, which also covered the costs of transportation for each of the three gatherings. Food and beverages were provided at all gatherings.
